So, R2 is ended. I just watched the last chapter of R2 and am going to say, Code Geass is the masterpiece of masterpiece.
What can I expect from a Japanese anime? State-of-the-art graphic, sentimental songs with sentimental rhythms, war and love, futuristic metal gears, legendary stories from King Arthur and the Holy Bible, the way our human society built and the ideologies, beautiful school girl complex, flattened world, German words, professionalism here and there. And Code Geass just had them all.
Our world is complicated, Code Geass started with a bright boy to discover the whole sophisticated world, and ended with his death. After his death, is the world really changed? This may be a question left to R3, if R3 is coming. And what will change the world or the world never change, will be a question left to me, will my actions for pursuing perfection really change the world?
