The Role

We are looking for an IT Engineer to ensure the smooth running IT operations and infrastructure. The role will be primarily based in the company ’ s Beijing office, but some travel may required on occasion.
This is an exciting and challenging role that will include providing end users the highest levels of service and availability of key systems. The role will involve working in a multicultural and globally distributed team in a “ Follow the Sun ” model to support the IT, infrastructure and network in the world ’ s no 1 app analytics company.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a very high availability network infrastructure including Internet access, VPN and proxies
Ensuring compliance with data security policies and procedures relative to all network systems
Aligning global technical and process initiatives to ensure consistency across all global App Annie offices for the IT function.
Interfacing with internal/external partners when required to ensure successful and secure platform operations.
Hands on troubleshooting of Macs, VMs, Network infrastructure, phone systems and video conferencing facilities.
Collaborate to design new IT infrastructure initiatives to improve mobility, communication and productivity throughout the App Annie business.

You
You should be an experienced IT Engineer who has international experience and a strong technical background:
2 - 4 years working experience
Very strong troubleshooting, issue resolution and problem solving skills.
Strong technical background and particularly in:
Network - Cisco skills and solid knowledge of networking technologies / protocols such as STP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, NAT, VPN, GRE, SNMP, QoS
Monitoring systems - Server and networking
Administration of large scale SaaS products (Google Docs, Microsoft 365, Box, Yammer, etc)
Knowledge in patch management techniques and tools such as Casper Suite (JSS) is a big plus
Linux, Windows and MAC troubleshooting and administration will be a plus
ITIL experience preferred
Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work over multiple work streams
Highly motivated, and results-oriented with the ability to convey those qualities to others
Passion for mobile apps, advertising and analytics
Excellent English written and communication skills
BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline required
