Natural Language Processing Researcher （ AM — SM level ）
Responsibility 1. Research on Natural Language Processing field, such as semantic understanding or related domain; 2. Explore new research direction in NLP field combined with multi-media processing; 3. Prototype design and algorithm implementation; 4. Apply the related techniques to Sony products.
Requirement 1. Master or Ph.D. on Computer or NLP related major; 2. Proficient in both theories and methods of Natural Language Processing; has sufficient experience in word-cut, part-of-speech tagging and natural language understanding; 3. Capable of independent research and experimenting on design and algorithm implementation; 4. Skilled in C/C++ programming; 5. Exceptional ability to analyze and solve problems; 6. Strong written and oral English; 7. Experience of related projects is a plus; 8. International journal/conference paper publication in the related areas is a plus.
Image Recognition Researcher
Responsibility 1. Research and quick implementation of R&D in Image Recognition Algorithm Development 2. Collaboration with researchers in Tokyo 3. Management of co-research projects with universities
Requirement 1. Doctor degree or equivalent in Electronic Information or Computer Science or related majors 2. Experience or knowledge in object detection, recognition and application technologies 3. Experience or knowledge of Machine Learning techniques 4. Hopefully have experience or knowledge in computer graphics and image rendering 4. Ability to promote research and development originally 5. Fluent English in reading and writing, freely communicable about technical topics in English; 6. Fluent in C/C++ programming, experienced to use the development tools or library such as MATLAB, OpenCV. （补充说明：younger researcher is better ）
Position Linux System Dev. Engineer Responsibility 1. Be in charge of feature development and performance tuning on Linux based services (mainly of Media relaed) for Sony products. 2. Perform feasibility study or investigation on specific technology points and make report in English according to customer's request. 3. Design and implement test suite for feature verification & performance measurement. 4. Be in charge of problem analysis, countermeasure invesitgation, report making for customer support issues.
Requirement 1. Master or Bachelor Degree of Computer Science or Electornic. 2. 2 years+ working experience in Linux embedded software development. 3. Be good at C programing under Linux, be familiar with script language(Phython, Shell...). 4. Background or working experience on grahic driver(OpenGL, OpenMAX, VAAPI, etc) or media FW/Service(GStreamer, DLNA, etc). 5. Good communication skill, reading/writing ability with English(CET-6). Japanese(JLPT-3 above) skill is preferred.
