## iOS Developer (Full-time/Contractor)
Your main responsibilities will include developing iOS applications. A key part of your responsibilities will include communicating with engineers on the Aivvy team, as well as other departments including design, hardware and cloud team.
### Requirement
* Have passion to design, build and polish great, simple, fun iOS applications
* 2+ years iOS development experience in a professional setting
* Deep knowledge of iPhone SDK, Objective-C, Swift, Cocoa, Storyboard
* Intense knowledge of REST, XML, and JSON
* Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
* Experience with consumer facing UI development
* Make disciplined use of source control and bug tracking systems Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
* Understanding of Design Patterns concepts, software architecture, SCRUM
* Familiar with agile software development methodologies, e.g. JIRA, Github, etc.
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English
* Able to work in a fast paced environment
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
## Android Developer (Full-time/Contractor)
Your main responsibilities will include developing Android applications, which includes defining, designing, and implementing on Google's Android platform. A key part of your responsibilities will include communicating with engineers on the Aivvy team, as well as other departments including design, hardware and cloud team.
### Requirement
* Have passion to design, build and polish great, simple, fun Android applications
* 2+ years Android development experience in a professional setting
* Experience with a wide range of Android SDK versions, from 4.0 and up.
* Comfortable with using Android Studio as the main IDE, and Android command line tools, preferably on Mac OS/X
* Knowledge of a variety of Android devices, from knock-off phones to top of the line
* Intense knowledge of Java, REST, XML, and JSON
* Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
* Experience with consumer facing UI development
* Make disciplined use of source control and bug tracking systems
* Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
* Understanding of Design Patterns concepts, software architecture, SCRUM
* Familiar with agile software development methodologies, e.g. JIRA, Github, etc.

## Software Architect (Full-time/Contractor)
Your responsibility will mainly be with cloud development for the musical devices and backend development for our eCommerce site, with future growth into the areas of data science and analytics.
### Responsibilities
* Contribute to overall system architect design decisions such as restful data api and service api design
* Design and implement restful data api and service api for certain modules
* Contribute to the set up of an agile (and inner source) software development environment and process
* Web app development
* Architect testing strategies and frameworks
* Architect CI process and develop process
* Set up of an agile (and inner source) software development environment and process
* Build up a learning environment for all team members including non technical members on various software technologies and methodologies
### Requirement
* 3+ years web development experience
* 2+ years experience with python and python web frameworks
* Database schema design experiences
* Good coding style
* Good English communication, liberal arts abilities, able to express thoughts well
* Up to date knowledge of software architecture, e.g. Docker
## DevOps Engineer (Full-time/Contractor)
You will be responsible for deployment automation, system/application level monitoring, and server security. This is a position with the potential for growth into other areas of software development.

* Deployment automation

### Requirement
* Architect Big Data services in AWS cloud across multiple regions
* Design and implement integration between on premises and AWS services for cohesive offering
* Plan, deploy, manage and scale complex software systems in the Cloud Build automated system for monitoring, alarming, logging and scaling in the Cloud
* Influence the development process for the best in class implementation on AWS
* Build infrastructure and automated system deployment to deploy a high number of service components daily while maintaining up-time and a seamless end-user experience
* Have the desire to understand the system end to end and troubleshoot it
* Bridge between Development and Operations and understand the requirements of each discipline; communicate well between teams
## eCommerce Developer (Full-time/Contractor)
Your responsibility will be developing (front-end and back-end) an integrated eCommerce website with basic eCommerce functions, marketing modules and system integrations.
### Requirement
* 2+ years eCommerce development and design experience
* Be familiar with popular e-Commerce suites, e.g. Magento.
* Knowledge of eCommerce related systems including shopping cart solutions, SCM, CRM, payments, user management, marketing related systems, etc
* Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL technologies
* Experience in eCommerce related systems integration
* Strong Python knowledge
* Have desire to create extraordinary web experiences by writing well-factored, elegant code.
* Experience with JavaScript, CSS and semantic HTML and have strong debugging abilities across all major browsers.
* You understand the value of test coverage.
* You worked efficiently in large JavaScript codebases and know how to keep the code modular and loosely coupled.
* You are passionate about software design patterns and practices that tame the complexities of building, maintaining and testing Javascript-heavy single page web applications.
