谷歌.dev 顶级域名今日起开放免费注册

2018 年 Chrome 开发者峰会的第一天，谷歌就宣布推出.dev 顶级域名，并在今年 2 月份开放注册。根据谷歌公布的时间点，从 2019 年 1 月 16 日到 2 月 19 日，商标持有者可以声明与其商标相关的域名，如 weixin.dev 或者 wechat.dev 等，以防止相关名称被恶意使用。

根据此前谷歌公布的时间点，即日起，公众即可免费注册.dev 顶级域名，注册点 get.dev

关于.dev 顶级域名，早在 2015 年的时候，谷歌就因为对这个域名的新权力在开发者当中引起了小小的公愤，因为许多公司都使用.dev 域名进行内部测试网站。两年后，谷歌收购.dev ，以及与 Chrome 和其他浏览器的整合导致许多这些测试页面完全拒绝打开。

当然，Google 正在为开发人员调整.dev 顶级域名，这可能部分是为了修复最初获取.dev 名称造成的损害。而且，就像今年早些时候推出的.app 顶级域名一样，HTTPS 安全性默认开启。
