用 pass 表示 fail 是国内才有的 chinglish 用法吗？

pass 本来就有 over 下一个的意思

因为 sth 不达标，所以 sb passes.

这里的 pass 是回绝，跳过，不要，觉得不值得或没必要等意思。间接代表 something failed, 但是主语一定要分清是 something 还是 someone, pass 表达上述意思时的主题一定是一个有意识的主体，比如一个人。

pass 本身意思贼多，要结合整个句子或者上下文来理解。

pass 确实有楼主说的那个意思，且不是 chinglish ；

但，主语必须是人，不能是物。

比如，领导问你要不要团建一起吃饭，你可以说 i'm gonna pass on this one. 意思就是不去了。

补充上面，something passes 或 something passed 倒是没有 failed 的意思；

pass 和 fail 还是相反的意思
