Senior Mobile Engineer, Android SDK
Engineering at Vungle:
We are building a world-class engineering team with diversified skills and backgrounds. As the leader in in-app video advertising, we are taking on a challenge that has never been solved: how to fundamentally change the mobile advertising industry so that ads make sense for users, application developers, and advertisers. We are creating a new SDK product and we ’ re looking for new team members to join us!
Responsibilities:
• Develop Vungle ’ s new Android SDK product
• Work on the architecture and design of SDK features
• Contribute to the design and development of the Vungle API that supports the SDK
• Work closely with integration engineers to support various publisher apps
• Solve challenging problems in the areas of on-device caching, memory management, multi-device support and more
• Maintain SDK stability supporting multiple Android versions and devices
• Collect and analyze SDK logging to debug and fix issues
Requirements:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development
• Experience with Android SDK and Java language
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Git or another version control system
• Experience building libraries is a plus
• Working familiarity with Vungle's ecosystem: gaming, apps, AdTech, etc. at any scale is a plus
Senior Software Engineer, Data

As a Data Engineer, you should have a passion for developing a robust, real-time data pipeline. In addition, you thrive in an environment where you're given the freedom to either build or hack open source tools to help other engineers access your data more efficiently.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Third degree black belt in OO programming paradigm and implementation using Scala, Java, Python or similar language
• In-depth understanding of the inner workings of one or more of the big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Spark etc.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.
• Experience with distributed data warehouse Redshift, GreenPlum or others
• Experience building streaming or batch processing data pipeline
• Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks, experience integrating data from multiple data sources
• Solid understanding of distributed system concept
• Possess an excellent understanding of scheduling and workflow frameworks and principles
• Robust development abilities and a strong predilection for automation
• Bachelor ’ s degree or above in Computer Science / related field of study
• Experience building hybrid infrastructure is a plus
• Experience with Golang is a plus

• Work with multiple site teams to develop Vungle's core product within Agile framework
• Lead or co-lead product feature design, implementation and release

• Contribute to product and engineering project roadmap planning
